Rayane Vuillemin, Photographer and Founder of Fauna Morocco

Rayane Vuillemin

Photographer & Founder

Rayane is the founder of Fauna Morocco and the main photographer of the project. He has developed advanced expertise in photographing wildlife on white backgrounds, with over 1,000 species documented to date. Deeply involved in all aspects of fieldwork, he also designs the Fauna Morocco website and oversees the logistics of missions across the country.

Colin Ruffieux, Biologist at Fauna Morocco

Biologist

Colin, a long-time reptile enthusiast and biologist based in Switzerland, is the scientific backbone of Fauna Morocco. He contributes both on the field and off, writing most of the species accounts and serving as the primary venomous snake handler during expeditions.

Passionate about nature, Clément has an excellent ability to spot even the most discreet animals. He also provides a valuable external perspective that aids in popularization, offering a broad and thoughtful vision.

Haytam Iallaten, Zoologist and Designer at Fauna Morocco

Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Mohammed V of Rabat, Haytam dedicates his work to the study and conservation of moroccan wildlife. He actively contributes to media content creation, fundraising initiatives, and the development of key partnerships that strengthen the project.
